PLEASE NOTE:
Rebel School has NOT been cancelled. I am currently working on a Half-Life 2 mod, which is taking up most of my time. If you would like to know more, please visit www.shellshock.comule.com. When the mod is finished, I promise I will continue with the comic.

Rebel School: About the comic

Rebel School

Rebel School is set in the world of Half-Life 2, a hit game by Valve Software. It follows the life of rebel-in-training, Zak Freeman, cousin of the infamous Gordon Freeman. The name "Zak Freeman" is the name of my good friend, who helps make up jokes and ideas with me. The comic started on the 28th of December, in 2009, but due to a techincal difficulty regarding a broken laptop, corrupt software, and removed comics, it hadn't been updated until 7th January 2010. I try to update it three times a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, although sometimes it's more or less, or on different days.

Those of you who haven't played Half-Life 2 are likely not to understand most of the jokes, as this comic is based strongly upon said game. The comic is used with the brilliant mod, Garry's Mod, which allows you to manipulate the game's physics, build contraptions, or like I do, pose ragdolls (which are dead characters, minus the blood) to create a comic strip.

Zak Freeman starts off in Camp Milita (cs_militia), where citizens loyal to rebellion are sent to train in the anti-Combine forces. After a small mishap regarding a cigarette and a dozen of explosive barrels, Freeman is sent off to find new oil drums. On arrival of a City 17, his mission slips his mind, and he sets off in his travels.
